Layering Love

Welcome back crafters to another Crazy Crafters Team Project Highlights, please click HERE  to see all the other cards and projects the team have created for you. Please vote for your top 5!

With my card this week I have used a lovely sentiment from the Layering Love stamp set and cut it out with the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I have put a side panel of DSP from the Petal Garden 6x6 pack, idea if you are a card marker. I have also used in the background of the sentiment the thumping technique using my ink refills and some alcohol blending solution. I have been using this technique for  years and didn't realise it had a actual name.

Please check out my UTUBE CHANNEL AND TUTORIALS AS I WILL BE DOING A TUTORIAL ON THIS TECHNIQUE!!

Beautiful You Covered Note Pad or Shopping List with Pocket Insert

Welcome to the monthly Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop. This month's theme is our Favourite Current In Colour, your are visiting Angela Westland from Australia. I hope you like my project. I have used the In Colour Powder Pink to make a Covered Note Book/Shopping List with a pocket inside to keep all those receipts in one place. These would make a great gift or make some yourself and sell them at the markets.

Keep an eye on my Utube Channel for a tutorial on this one, I publish 3 tutorials every week as time permits. Make sure you click on the names at the bottom of this post to see all the other cards or projects that have been made by the other crafters. I did see this idea from another crafter, I have changed the measurements to suit my needs and added a pocket inside.

Heartland with Burlap Background

I have been working with this beautiful country theme stamp set "Heartland" and it has been very popular in my country town where I sell my cards. This time I have sponged my background on Shimmery White cardstock, stamped my image in the bottom right hand corner. Then I created a mask and covered the image and using the new "Burlap" stamp set, stamped over the entire front of the card to create the beautiful background. It sparkles being on Shimmery White cardstock and adds texture using the background stamp with masking the small image. Finally using the Layering Ovals and the Stitched Shaped Framelits I have added my sentiment and adhered it to my card with dimensionals.

You've Got This

Welcome back crafter's to our last Blog Hop for this month, we are very lucky to have the very talented Susan Wong hopping with us today. You can visit Susan's Blog to be inspired with her creations HERE!!!! The theme for our blog hop is to CASE one of Susan's cards/projects.
CASE: To copy and selectively edit - Make It Your Own!

Susan Wong

Susan's Card

With my card I have used the same stamp set Susan has "You've Got This", I started by using the layering ovals and cutting a oval shape on my base card, then with the top layer which is Shimmery White I stamped it in Calypso Coral using the large background stamp from the set.  I then white embossed the flower on top and cut out a larger oval shape using the layering ovals so I could have a nice oval frame showing the Calypso Coral. I then stamped and cut out the flower and water coloured it before adding it to the card. Finally adding the sentiment inside the card so you can view it through the oval shape cut out.
